Tour Operators' Margin Scheme - TOMS
I am acknowledged as being the UK’s foremost expert on the Tour Operators' Margin Scheme (TOMS), and I was responsible for re-drafting the 2004 version of the TOMS Notice (709/5). Consequently, many of my clients operate in the Travel Industry.
Additionally, throughout my time with HMRC, I have also addressed the conundrum that is Partial Exemption, which is why I am able to advise Financial Services companies, particularly those trying to cope with the changes required by the Retail Distribution Implementation Programme, on the wonders of VAT.
